Such a dense, mystical record with an almost impenetrable shroud of darkness surrounding it. However, once the layers start peeling back, you start seeing the light. It's far away. You'll never touch it. VOIDSPIRE

As usual, Kirby manipulates various interwar records to fit a cavalcade of emotional states: blissful (B1, E8), tragic (D2, D5), frantic (E1, E6), and just plain horrifying (F3, G1, H1, K1). gjoe52

Since the moment I first heard this, Practical Electronics has been one of my most treasured modern albums. Of all the former Coil collaborators, Thighpaulsandra somehow for me has the fiercest pulse - sheer vitality! As a vocalist, THPS is just bursting with showmanship - a mean sexual swagger, a great sense of humour, and occasional moments of sincere beauty - while the music itself veers between vicious noise and beautiful melodic passages. Nevermind my babbling - highest recommendation! wahrearbeitwahrerlohn

Just imagine if these outtakes made it into EATEOT, the project would've been over seven hours! I love how "I Might Be Vanishing" is a stark contrast from other tracks, being only nine seconds. 913GA
